Learn more about Indigenous Canada. University of Alberta's Indigenous Canada course is a free, online course through Coursera. The course explores Indigenous worldviews, Indigenous histories and contemporary issues in Canada, including national and local Indigenous-settler relations. As students progress through the twelve modules, they learn about the fur trade, land claims and environmental impacts, legal systems and rights, Indigenous political activism, and contemporary Indigenous life, art, and it's expressions. An excellent course for every Canadian. |
